It is not easy to tell the world about personal betrayal. Rachel Leigh tells her story with inspiring humility and courage. Her rich, authentic writing slipped me easily into not just the depths of her agony, but up and out with her as she learned to fly high on the promises of a life submitted to the Father. This is a book I will read again and again, as I know different parts of it will speak to me at different times in my life as the need arises. I found this book to be very heartfelt, leads you on a journey you are not expecting to take and opens your eyes to what you are missing if just just give God control. Mine was a different journey, same principle. Rachel's wise words and Scripture encouraged me in ways I needed for a long time. Rachel has wonderfully demonstrated the power of faith and walking with the Lord. Though our circumstances change and are uniquely our own she relies on scripture to share how she is living triumphantly through her journey. I have been enjoying reading many passages over and over and being blessed each time. I was involved in a very serious conversation with a dear friend who was facing some difficulties and was able to share some of the highlighted scriptures with her and together rely on God’s promises that He is always here for us. I can’t tell you how big of a blessing we shared reading these passages and praying together.
